Minecraft Blueprint: Cool Sand Castle
Hi guys! Tom here. There’s no need to shun the desert. Grab your sand and put together a cool sand castle like this!
What you’ll need
- 110 chiseled or cracked sandstone
- 18 sand
- 100 smooth stone
- 15 glass
- 1 door
Step 1: lay out a modified 9×9 square of chiseled sandstone. It’s a plain square but for one block left open in the front center, and a couple two-block extensions coming out two blocks from the center opening.
Step 2: Create L shapes out of sand on top of the front projections. Add more sand blocks on top of the first layer, leaving central blocks open for windows.
Step 3: cover everything but the center opening with chiseled sandstone
Step 4: build another layer, just like in the last step, but use sand for this one. This is the building’s fourth layer
Step 5: Add a single block in the opening to finish the arch
Step 6: create a 10×10 square of smooth stone above and outside the top sand layer, so that the stone and sand are connected diagonally. Make a smaller section that protrudes out from that.
Step 7: Create another square of sandstone above the stone layer, and one block within it. It should be in vertical alignment with the last sand layer. Also add some sandstone above the gap in the smaller stone square sticking out in the front.
Here’s another view of this step:
Step 8: add another layer of smooth stone above and inside the previous sandstone layer, so that the two are diagonally connected.
Step 9: do the same as the last step, creating a second square of smooth stone.
Step 10: fill in the hole in the roof with glass. Place torches on the roof and inside to prevent monsters spawning.
And that’s it! Go here to see more Minecraft blueprints and keep on building! Don’t forget to add interior stuff, too.
